On 05/18/22 at approximately 10:15pm, Hamden Police Officers responded to the 200 block of Paradise Avenue regarding a struck pedestrian. Responding officers located a victim in the roadway. The woman, a 37 year-old Hamden resident, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was struck by a vehicle that is suspected of having front-end damage. The vehicle fled from the scene. Police later recovered an unoccupied, suspect vehicle in the area of Hume Drive. The vehicle was seized by police in conjunction with the investigation.
