On April 7, 2022, at approximately 11:45 a.m., members of the Hamden Police Department’s Patrol Division along with extra patrols assigned to the area, responded to the Hamden Plaza, 2100 Dixwell Avenue on a report of suspicious activity.
Investigation revealed that a male and female were reported to be shoplifting in the area. They were subsequently apprehended with stolen merchandise. Further investigation revealed that both parties were in the possession of narcotics.
Hamden Police arrested Katherine Krukowski, 41, of 2 South Pond Circle, Cheshire, CT, and charged her with Larceny 5th and Possession of Narcotics. Darren S. Palmer, 34, of 2 South Pond Circle, Cheshire, CT, was also arrested and charged with Conspiracy to Commit Larceny 5th and Possession of Narcotics.
Both parties were released on $2,500.00 Non-Surety bonds, with a court date of May 19, 2022, at Meriden Superior Court.
