On March 12, 2022 at approximately 11:30 PM, Hamden Police Officers responded to the area of Dunn Road on a report of shots fired. Officers discovered that a single-family house on Dunn Road was struck by the gunfire. The home was occupied at the time of the shooting and at least one of the shots penetrated into the home. No injuries were reported.
Ballistic evidence was recovered at the crime scene. A small sedan was seen leaving the area. Detectives from the Hamden Police Department’s Crime Scene Unit and Major Crimes Unit are investigating. The preliminary investigation revealed that the house may have been specifically targeted.
