Hamden – Mayor Lauren Garrett and Acting Public Works Director Matthew Kott have
issued a parking ban for the Town of Hamden, effective Friday, January 28th, 2022 at
8:00PM until further notice. This ban is being declared pursuant to Section 71.03 of the

Section 71.07 of the Code of the Town of Hamden, to remove any vehicle parked in
violation of this ordinance. Such removal shall be at the risk and expense of the owner of
the vehicle.

Hamden Public Library will be closed Saturday, January 29th. Their digital branch and
virtual reference will still be available.

Please stay off of the roads if possible to allow for cleanup and emergency vehicles.
