On 01/26/22 at approximately 9:15 AM, Hamden Police responded to a Laurel Road address on the report of a 76 year-old male that was assaulted and robbed outside his house. The victim had just returned home from walking his dog. He was struck in the head from behind with an unknown object and suffered a laceration. The suspects stole his wallet. The victim was treated at the scene and transported to the hospital.
The two suspects were described as white or Hispanic males, possibly in their 20’s and tall. They were both wearing masks and one was wearing a yellow hoodie. They were last observed running towards Prospect Street.
