On 01/12/22 at approximately 5:45 PM, Hamden Police responded to the intersection of Arch Street and Bowen Street on the report of an evading motor vehicle accident with a pedestrian struck. A 64-year-old female was crossing Bowen Street and struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Arch Street. She sustained serious injuries from the accident. She was treated on scene by Hamden Fire Rescue and transported to the hospital by ambulance.
The suspect vehicle fled the scene southbound on Bowen Street and was described as a newer model, dark colored sedan. The vehicle should have front-end damage and possibly a broken windshield.
