On 10/01/21 at approximately 7:45 AM, Hamden Police and Hamden Fire Rescue responded to the US-1 Petrol gas station, 1290 Dixwell Avenue, on the report of a sudden death. The victim, a 26 year-old male, was pronounced dead at the scene. The preliminary investigation revealed no signs of foul play. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner responded to the scene and is assisting in the investigation. The cause and manner of death are pending autopsy results.
At this time, the identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
