On July 23, 2021, at approximately 5:45a.m. Hamden Police met with a 60-year-old Hamden resident that was the victim of a knifepoint robbery.
Investigation revealed that she was waiting for a bus at the corner of Dixwell Avenue and North Street. A vehicle, described as a dark gray 4-door sedan, stopped next to her. An individual, described as a black male, 22 to 31 years of age, 5’6” to 5’8”, thin build, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, exited the vehicle, brandishing a knife. He pointed the knife into the “the top half” of her chest. He then proceeded to “throw” her to the ground. The victim sustained a shoulder injury. He purse, containing money and credit cards was stolen.
