On June 1, 2021, at approximately 3:45p.m. Hamden Police responded to “power line trails”, located in the vicinity of Gaylord Mountain Road and West Woods Road, on the report of an accident, involving an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV).
Moments later, Hamden Fire Department personnel located a 43-year-old male, near an unoccupied ATV. The male was deceased.
A preliminary investigation determined that the male “may have lost control, as he attempted to negotiate a turn.” He was ejected from the ATV. An autopsy will be performed today.
