On May 20, 2021, at approximately 10:45p.m. Hamden Police responded to Walgreens, 1191 Dixwell Avenue. Officer Timothy Janus “was waved down” by the Store Manager regarding a public indecency complaint.
Investigation revealed that Jabron Matheney stood behind a female customer and masturbated inside of the store. Matheney was subsequently arrested in the area of Dixwell Avenue and Woodin Street.
Hamden Police arrested Jabron Matheney, 27, of 79 Third Street, Hamden. He was charged with Public Indecency and Breach of Peace in the 2nd Degree. Matheney, who was detained on a $10,000.00 bond, is scheduled to appear at Meriden Superior Court on August 5, 2021.
