On February 6th at approximately 4:45a.m. Officer Andrew Lipford observed the operator of a motor vehicle, later identified as Miguel Nonossi, commit several motor vehicle violations, while traveling southbound on Dixwell Avenue. Officer Lipford subsequently conducted a motor vehicle stop.
A search of Nonossi’s vehicle led to the discovery of crack cocaine and heroin. Nonossi, who briefly struggled with police, was placed under arrest and then transported to police headquarters.
Nonossi, 28, of 11 Ramsdell Street, New Haven was charged with Possession of Narcotics, Possession of Narcotics with the Intent to Sell, Assault on a Police Officer, Interfering with a Police Officer, Operating under Suspension, Unsafe Turn, Failure to Use Signal and Failure to Obey Stop Sign. Nonossi, who was detained on a $50,000.00 bond, is scheduled to appear in court in Meriden.
