On December 3, 2020 at 5:15a.m. Hamden Police responded to Glemby Street on the report of an armed street robbery.
Investigation revealed that a 60 year-old Hamden resident was walking to the bus stop. An individual, described as a black male, late teens, 5’4”, thin build, wearing dark clothing, emerged from a gray sports utility vehicle and approached her. He then pointed a firearm at her, while demanding her belongings. The victim “handed over” her lunch.
The suspect fled in the sports utility vehicle, southbound on Glemby Street.
