On October 7, 2020 at approximately 1:15a.m. a Hamden Police Officer was
approached by a 32 year-old Waterbury resident. He advised the officer that he was
“robbed at gunpoint” on Church Street.
The victim, a Door Dash delivery driver, advised police that he was making a delivery on
Church Street. While sitting in his vehicle, he was approached by two individuals, who
were earlier traveling in a “white, 4-door, Volkswagon Jetta.”
One of the individuals, described as a black male, 5’9”, wearing dark clothing and a facemask, pointed a
firearm at his head. The second individual searched his vehicle, subsequently stealing
$420.00. The suspects were last observed fleeing southbound on Dixwell Avenue,
inside of the Volkswagon Jetta.
