On October 1, 2020 Hamden Police responded to Mix Avenue on the report of
suspicious activity.
A fourteen-year-old high school student advised police that she was walking home from
school, northbound, on the east side of Mix Avenue. She stated that a “light gray, small,
four-door vehicle, pulled up very close” to her. She related that she felt as though the
operator of the vehicle was “trying to grab her.” The operator of the vehicle said
“something” to her. She quickly fled from the area.
The operator of the vehicle is described as a white male, long hair with braids and
numerous tattoos on his face. He was last observed traveling northbound on Mix
Avenue.
