In February of 2016 Hamden Police responded to an Armory Street address on the report of a residential forcible burglary.

Investigation revealed that William Healy gained entry into the residence by damaging a rear door. Once inside, Healy stole several items, including electronic equipment, jewelry and personal documents. The stolen items were valued at $3,000.00.

Detective William Onofrio conducted an extensive investigation, which led to the application of an arrest warrant for Healy. The court approved the arrest warrant application.

On December 22, 2017 Healy was arrested at Meriden Superior Court. Healy, 53, of 559 Hartford Turnpike, Hamden was charged with Burglary in the 3rd Degree and Larceny in the 3rd Degree. He was detained on a court-ordered $75,000.00 bond. Healy was arraigned later in the day.
