On December 4, 2019 at approximately 9:40a.m. Hamden Police responded to Express Fuel, 1126 Dixwell Avenue on the report of suspicious activity.
A 36 year-old Hamden resident advised police that a person, described as a black male, late 30’s, 6’3”, 250 lbs. with facial hair was engaging her in conversation, while she was pumping gas. As she drove away, he attempted to open the rear door of her vehicle. Her 8-year-old daughter was seated in the backseat. She feared that the he was attempting to take her daughter.
The person responsible was last observed operating an older model, silver-colored Jaguar. The vehicle has right front-end damage.
