On July 6, 2018 Hamden Police responded to Wooster Street Travel Agency, 1220 Whitney Avenue on the report of a burglary.
Investigation revealed that Albert Pelletier forcibly entered the business and stole computer equipment valued at $3,000.00. Pelletier used a “cement footing” to “shatter” the rear door.
Detective John Marks conducted an investigation, which led to the application of an arrest warrant for Pelletier. The court approved the arrest warrant application.
On July 2, 2019 Hamden Police arrested Pelletier at Meriden Superior Court. Pelletier, 58, of 8 Norden Place, Norwalk was charged with Burglary in the 3rd Degree, Larceny in the 3rd Degree and Criminal Mischief in the 1st Degree. He was detained on a court-ordered $25,000.00 bond. Pelletier was arraigned later in the day.
