On May 21, 2019 at approximately 11:00p.m. Hamden Police responded to the parking lot of 655 Fitch Street on the report of an assault with a firearm.
Investigation revealed that a 32 year-old Hamden resident exited his parked motor vehicle. While returning to his residence, he “brushed shoulders” with an individual, described as a black male, 40 to 50 years of age, 5’10”, medium build, thick framed eyeglasses, wearing a sweatshirt and shorts. The individual subsequently struck him on the top of the head with a firearm. The individual then pointed the firearm at the victim.
The victim, who sustained a head laceration, refused medical treatment.
