On April 3, 2019 Hamden Police responded to an incident that occurred at 81 Briarcliff Road.
Investigation revealed that residents Shannon Mosca and her boyfriend Tyrell Simms were involved in a verbal dispute. Mosca subsequently discharged a single round from a firearm into the front lawn. Her 3 year-old daughter watched the incident unfold from a nearby window.
Moments later, Hamden Police arrested Mosca at her place of employment, a nearby Hamden restaurant.
Hamden Police arrested Shannon Mosca, 28, of 81 Briarcliff Road, Hamden. She was charged with Criminal Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm, Reckless Endangerment, Carrying a Pistol without a Permit and Risk of Injury to a Minor. Mosca, who was detained on a $5,000.00 bond, was scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court today.
