On March 4, 2019 Hamden Police responded to the area of Arch Street and Fairview Avenue on the report of public indecency.
Investigation revealed that a 40 year-old Hamden resident was walking on Arch Street, when she was approached by Andrew Porter. Porter was seated inside of his motor vehicle. Porter exposed his genitals, while asking the victim if she “wanted to watch.”
Officer Ronald Glifort conducted the investigation, which led to the arrest of Porter. Porter, 33, of 185 Braeside Drive, Hamden was charged with Public Indecency and Breach of Peace. He was detained at police headquarters on a $1,000.00 bond. Porter is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on March 20, 2019.
