On February 9, 2019 Hamden Police arrested Anthony Dagostino on the strength of 4 arrest warrants. Dagostino was being detained by the Orange Police Department.
Dagostino, 32, of 100 Laurel Street, East Haven was charged with Larceny in the 6th Degree, Failure to Appear in the 1st Degree, Failure to Appear in the 2nd Degree and Violation of Probation. Dagostino, who is being held on a $100,000.00 court-ordered bond, is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on February 19th.
Dagostino was transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital after he was fingerprinted and photographed by Hamden Police. While at the hospital, Dagostino attempted to escape. He threw several chairs at a Hamden Police Officer. He was subsequently apprehended. The officer, who was injured during the incident, suffered a knee injury.
