On December 14, 2018 at approximately 6:30p.m. Hamden Police responded to 1890 Liquor Store, 1890 Dixwell Avenue on the report of “shoplifting, involving injuries.”
Investigation revealed that 2 individuals entered the store and stole 3 bottles of liquor. The liquor was valued at $105.97. One of the individuals, described as a black female, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, pushed the 55 year-old female employee to the ground. She suffered a shoulder injury. They subsequently fled westbound on Benham Street in a silver Volkswagen “hatchback.”
