On December 12, 2018 at approximately 10:15a.m. Hamden Police responded to a New Road residence on the report of a burglary.
Investigation revealed that Joseph Conte Jr. forcibly entered the residence through a basement door. Once inside, he proceeded to an upstairs bedroom and stole money. Detective Joseph Liguori obtained information that quickly led to his arrest.
Hamden Police arrested Joseph Conte Jr., 37, of 2586 Whitney Avenue, Hamden. He was charged with Burglary in the 3rd Degree and Larceny in the 6th Degree. Conte Jr., who was released after posting a $10,000.00 bond, is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on December 27th.
