On November 19, 2018 at approximately 9:00p.m. Hamden Police responded to 300 Pine Rock Avenue on the report of a motor vehicle accident, involving multiple vehicles.
Investigation revealed that 2 New Haven residents were seated inside of a vehicle, which was parked in a private parking lot. They were waiting for a friend. Moments later, they were approached by 2 masked men, who were both in the possession of a firearm. The suspects threatened to kill the occupants of the vehicle. Fearing that they would be “robbed”, the operator of the vehicle attempted to flee in his vehicle. He subsequently struck 5 parked vehicles, before colliding with a tree.
The suspects are described as males, 20’s; 5’7” to 5’11”, thin build, wearing dark clothing.
