11/19/2018 - 11/19/18 Arrest of Daiquan Hyman and a 17 year-old – Possession of Narcotics with the Intent to Sell

On November 17, 2018 at approximately 5:30a.m. Officer Kyle Sampognaro observed a suspicious motor vehicle parked on Goodrich Street.

Upon approaching the vehicle, Officer Sampognaro observed 2 males sleeping inside. His investigation led to a search of the vehicle. Officers located a bag, containing 2.4 grams of crack cocaine. A further search led to the discovery of 95 empty plastic bags. 

Hamden Police arrested Daiquan Hyman, 19, of 218 Welton Street, 2nd floor, Hamden. He was charged with Possession of Narcotics, Possession of Narcotics with the Intent to Sell, No Insurance, Misuse of Plates, Operating without a License and Operating an Unregistered Motor Vehicle. Hyman, who was detained on a $25,000.00 bond, is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on November 29th. 

Hamden Police also arrested a 17 year-old New Haven resident. He was charged with Possession of Narcotics and Possession of Narcotics with the Intent to Sell. He is scheduled to appear in Juvenile Court in New Haven on November 29th.
