On January 31st, 2023 at 5:55am, the Hamden Police Department responded to Wintergreen Magnet School, 670 Wintergreen Avenue, for a report of an assault.
The preliminary investigation revealed that when the custodian arrived for work, he found an unknown male inside the school. The custodian asked the suspect to leave, and the suspect then assaulted him. The suspect stole the victim’s wallet and keys, and ultimately his vehicle. The victim was transported to the hospital with facial injuries.
