On August 11, 2022 at approximately 11:30 PM, Hamden Police Officers responded to a complaint of shots fired in the 200 block of Park Road. A short time later, police learned that a 23-year-old gunshot victim arrived at Yale New Haven Hospital with non-life threatening injuries as a result of the shooting.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a suspect approached the victim while he was parked in a vehicle and shot him. Detectives from the Hamden Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Unit are leading the investigation. Ballistic evidence was recovered at the scene.
