On July 5, 2018 the Hamden Police Department Street Interdiction Team concluded a lengthy drug investigation with the arrests of Darrell Streater and Keith White. Officers had secured arrest warrants for Streater and White for selling narcotics.

Streater and White were arrested in the vicinity of 432 Shelton Avenue. Streater was in the possession of cocaine (28.4 grams) and marijuana (6.3 grams). The street value of the drugs is estimated at $1,500.00.

Hamden Police arrested:

Darrell Streater, 49, of 356 Summit Street, New Haven. He was charged with Sale of Narcotics, Possession of Narcotics with the Intent to Sell and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Streater, who was detained on a $10,000.00 bond, is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on July 19th.

Keith White, 40, of 147 Read Street, New Haven. He was charged with 2 counts of Sale of Narcotics. White is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on July 19th.
